2Completa: «Yesterday my friends ____ (visit) the museum» · «Laura ____ (study) for the test last night».

Ver solución
«Yesterday my friends visited the museum» · «Laura studied for the test last night».

3Escribe el pasado de: go, eat, see, buy, have, write.

Ver solución
go → went · eat → ate · see → saw · buy → bought · have → had · write → wrote.

4Completa con el past simple: «We ____ (go) to the beach in August» · «Mateo ____ (make) a chocolate cake» · «I ____ (get) a new phone for my birthday».

Ver solución
«We went to the beach in August» · «Mateo made a chocolate cake» · «I got a new phone for my birthday».

5¿Regular o irregular? Clasifica: jumped, took, opened, came, swam, cooked.

Ver solución
Regulares (-ed): jumped, opened, cooked.
Irregulares: took (take), came (come), swam (swim).

6Pon en negativa: «Sara watched the match» · «They found the keys».

Ver solución
«Sara didn’t watch the match» · «They didn’t find the keys».

Ejemplo: «I didn’t play video games yesterday» · «I didn’t go to the swimming pool».

4. Preguntas con did

Pregunta = (palabra interrogativa) + Did + sujeto + verbo en infinitivo + ?

8Haz la pregunta: «Marcos phoned his grandmother» · «You saw the film».

Ver solución
«Did Marcos phone his grandmother?» · «Did you see the film?»

9Contesta con una respuesta corta: «Did you enjoy the trip?» (sí) · «Did Irene win the race?» (no).

Ver solución
«Yes, I did.» · «No, she didn’t.»

10Pregunta por la parte subrayada: «They arrived at nine o’clock» · «Ana bought a T-shirt».

Ver solución
«What time did they arrive?» · «What did Ana buy?»

5. Was y were

El pasado de be: was con I, he, she, it; were con you, we, they. No usa did.

11Completa con was / were / wasn’t / weren’t: «The film ____ boring, so we left» · «My shoes ____ wet after the rain» · «I ____ at school yesterday: I was ill».

Ver solución
«The film was boring» · «My shoes were wet» · «I wasn’t at school yesterday» (estaba enfermo, así que en negativa).

12Haz la pregunta y contesta: «Were / the shops / open / on Sunday?» (no).

Ver solución
«Were the shops open on Sunday?» — «No, they weren’t.»
Con was / were la pregunta se hace invirtiendo, sin did.

6. Repaso: corregir y contar

13Corrige: «I goed to the cinema» · «Did she bought bread?» · «We was happy».

Ver solución
«I went to the cinema» (go es irregular) · «Did she buy bread?» (tras did, infinitivo) · «We were happy».

14Pon el texto en pasado: «On Saturday I get up late. I have breakfast with my family and then I meet my friends in the park.»

Ver solución
«On Saturday I got up late. I had breakfast with my family and then I met my friends in the park.»
Los tres verbos son irregulares: get → got, have → had, meet → met.

Dudas frecuentes

¿Por qué «Did you went» está mal?

Lo correcto es Did you go?
